 A Paradigm Shift
A paradigm iz a pattern of two truths side by side in duality. A paradigm shift occurs when one of the truths absorbs the other or becomes dominant over the other. "To shift" means to arrange in order. A "paradigm shift" means to divide and then to rearrange into a new order.
In classical mythology the story of Icarus has created a paradigm in the human psyche. Icarus iz the story of a youth who attempted to escape from the island of Crete in the Mediterranean. He constructed wings of feathers glued together with wax for flight, but flew so high that the heat of the Sun melted his wings and he plunged into the sea to his death (or so it was thought). Let us imagine Icarus wanted to escape Crete because of the widespread deformity and retardation of its people. Then this paradigm says, if you come too close to the light and heat of the Sun, there will be trouble.
Icarus still lives today and has just returned from the bottom of the sea. He still wishes to escape the deformity and retardation of this world as it now iz. This paradigm iz a bit different from back then. Today, Icarus realizes the deformities and retardations of the human race are within him. The patterns which create this state are in his very blood. Icarus knows he must fly again and that feathers are symbols of truth. This time Icarus has to fly with wings made of true information composed of rays of Light glued together with Love. On this flight Icarus not only must fly higher, but must fly into the Sun with no fear. The heat of Love and Light are the only things which can transform the parasites in his blood that keep causing retardation and deformity the world around.
A parasite iz one who eats at another’s table. An invited guest, do you think? Perhaps. Yet now it’s time for dessert and radiant Light iz being served as the final course. Icarus knows what it takes to let go and fly directly into the Sun which centers him. It takes guts and glory to create an individual and a worldwide paradigm shift.
