 The Secret
A secret iz something that iz hidden. "To hide" iz to conceal and "to secern" iz to sift through thereby uncovering what once was secret.
Recently I viewed a documentary on television describing the great search in the 1700’s to find a way to accurately map the lines of longitude on the oceans for the navigation of ships. The final line spoken by the narrator was, "The secret of knowing where you are iz in knowing what time it iz". The documentary revealed that, regardless of whether you travel east or west, if you knew the time in Greenwich, England and you reset your clock at exactly when the sun was at midday, then for every hour different from Mean Time you would be 15 degrees from the prime meridian. Hence, were created the lines of longitude around the globe.
Looking deeper into the statement, "The secret of knowing where you are iz in knowing what time it iz", started a few thoughts percolating. I was keenly interested to see if this statement could hold water--truth--in other dimensions. The trinity of time and space began to reveal itself, starting with the word "travel" as being the third point, the apex, of a creative triangle where time and space formed the baseline.
One of the key attributes of universal living iz travel (motion). We on Earth travel around our Sun and our Moon travels around our Earth creating another trinity. The date we use on Earth at this time marks the creative field of Moon-Earth-Sun. Our date iz stated in months reflected by the cycles of the Moon, our days are numbered in a series of revolutions relative to each month, and the distance traveled around the Sun denotes a year. We have lost count of the actual number of times the Earth has traveled around the Sun. Each cycle of each sphere has been quartered. The Moon has a new, first quarter, full and last quarter to describe its dominant phases. The Earth has four phases also--morning (dawn), midday, evening (twilight) and midnight. The Sun relative to the Earth has two equinoxes and two solstices totaling four dominant phases. We also recognize the solar system iz traveling around a greater center point. We can also note the movement of the atomic structures (atoms) within us, around us and all the movements of human beings on the surface, and let’s not forget the traveling of beings from on and off the surface in the cycles of birth and death.
In the 1930’s Lloyd Arthur Meeker known as "Uranda" brought forth thinking about the trinity of time-space-travel in the Cosmic Ages. Without sweating the details of the numbers, he basically stated that four cosmic ages create one full complete cycle for Earth. Within each of those ages there are 12 grand ages that can correspond to the Moon and 144 ordinary ages (analogous to days).This iz a depiction of the same trinity on a much larger scale.
The name Uranda has been thought to mean giver of the Light, Christ Light in particular, containing the Love-Light-Life trinity. Christ Light in anyone brings forth information inherent in its rays. There are other secrets to the name "Uranda". For instance, the word "Urano" iz a combination word that means heavens and "Uranology" iz concerned with the description and mapping of the heavens. Uranda’s ideas focused in the thought that, if you knew what time it was in the cosmos relative to this planet, you would know where you are in any creative cycle; therefore, you would know how to play a conscious role. The mapping of the cosmic time-space-travel trinity has also been designed in four phases or four elements in force--water-air-earth-fire.
It iz well known that the Zodiac with its twelve constellations iz divided into a trinity each with four elements. The Cardinal signs (Aries-Capricorn-Libra-Cancer) begin the solstices and equinoxes. The Fixed signs (Leo-Taurus-Aquarius-Scorpio) are midway between the solstices and equinoxes and the Mutable signs (Sagittarius-Virgo-Gemini-Pisces) are at the end of the seasons. Each point of the trinity has four elements--water, air, earth and fire. Astrologists study the movements of these bodies in the space-time-travel continuum and can chart a person’s location relative to these creative cycles.
Many wicces study the phases of the Moon in a specific sense to determine their relationship to its creative cycles. We also study the four seasons, the four architects of our immediate world. Knowing the timing of the four seasons enables us to use the forces creatively by moving with them and not against them. The timing of the seasons iz not limited to just physical movement. We are aware of ways to use the term seasons in our lives in many different ways.
I would now like to make another statement by expanding the original thought. "The secret of knowing who we are iz in the knowing of where we are" and the reverse iz, "The secret of knowing where we are iz in the knowing of who we are". Since we have found the lines of longitude and latitude, then we have also found the vertical and horizontal lines of force. Where the two lines cross iz where we are in the cosmos. That’s the point with position but no magnitude. To understand "The Secret" of yourself you have to know who you are and where you are. The trick iz you need to know both the horizontal and the vertical--north and south, east and west, and where they all meet as one. This completes the symbol of the God Head.
